Office Personnel

Ruth McDonald recently began her role as the new WNAC Director. She and her husband Donnie ministered as missionaries in Japan for 38 years, most recently in the Good News Chapel in the greater Tokyo area. Ruth shares, “WNAC had a huge part to play in our ministry in Japan all these years. I am excited about giving back by serving our wonderful Free Will Baptist women.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

Phyllis York is the editor of Treasure Bible Study Guide. She brings a wealth of experience as a pastor’s wife, mother, grandmother, WAC leader, and long-time administrative assistant to Elizabeth Hodges, former director.

Meet the board:

Amy Johnson is head of the accounting department at Stark Enterprises, a general contracting company based in Michigan. She graduated from Welch College in 1998 with a B.S. in Business Administration. She is a member of Calvary FWB Church in Salem, IL, where her husband, Harlen, pastors. She enjoys women’s ministry, working with children, and being outdoors. Amy began serving on the WNAC board in 2009 and serves as Illinois WAC coordinator. 

Katie Postlewaite is vice president of the South Carolina Women Active for Christ. Originally from Mississippi, Katie now resides in Johnsonville, SC, with her husband, Joey, and their two daughters. She attends Westside Free Will Baptist Church, where her husband serves as pastor. Katie has a servant’s heart and is part of numerous ministries at the church, district, state, and now the national level. 

Sarah Sargent graduated from Ohio State University in 2006. A third-generation member and leader in WNAC, she has been active at all levels of WNAC since an early age. She began serving on the WNAC board in 2013. Sarah is actively involved in Reynoldsburg FWB Church, where her father pastors. 

Jessica Edwards earned a B.A. from Welch College in 2003 with minors in Missions and History. She is actively involved in her Women Active for Christ at Cross Timbers FWB Church in Nashville, TN, and serves as treasurer for Tennessee WAC. Jessica is a deacon’s wife and a homeschooling mom of three. With a passion to travel, she has enjoyed visiting several Free Will Baptist international mission fields. Jessica began serving on the WNAC board in 2020. 

Lee Ann Wilfong has been an active member of WNAC since she was a young adult, serving in leadership capacities at all levels. Currently serving as president of Missouri WAC, she began serving on the WNAC board in 2015.  She attends Leadington FWB Church in Park Hills, MO, where she is actively involved in leadership roles.

Sharon Dickey is a graduate of Randall University with an AA in Christian Education. She is a homeschooling mom and has one grandchild. Sharon serves in her local WAC, District WAC board, and Texas WAC board. As a pastor’s wife, she serves in many roles at Fellowship FWB in Bryan, TX, where her husband, Doug, pastors.

Khristi Shores attended Welch College, is a pastor’s wife and taught in Free Will Baptist Christian schools for six years. In 2001 her family moved as church planters to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She served in New Mexico’s WAC and participated in Arizona’s WAC retreats. She has a heart for Free Will Baptist works in the west, where her children and grandchildren still live. Khristi and Mark have led six ETEAMs and enjoy the time spent on these international fields. She lives in Checotah, OK, where her husband, Mark, pastors First FWB Church.

Tracy Payne earned an A.A. in Business from Randall University in 1981 and a B.S. in Theology and Psychology in 1983. She has served as worship coordinator, pianist, and women’s ministry coordinator in her local churches. Tracy has been active at all levels of WNAC and began serving on the WNAC board in 2015.  A pastor’s wife and mother of five children, Tracy brings her experience as a frequent speaker at women’s events.

Jonda Patton, CPA, works for Community Trust Bank in Pikeville, KY. She earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Kentucky in 1983. Jonda is actively involved in  Pikeville FWB Church, where her husband, Jim, pastors. Jonda has been active at all levels of WNAC. Currently, she serves as her state coordinator and began serving on the WNAC board in 2011.
